Troubleshooting

Start with the symptom. Each section lists the fastest checks first.

  1. Reload the tab. Teams keeps tabs alive for a long time, so a stale session is the most common cause.
  2. Open the app again from the app bar or the Apps menu.
  3. Try the same account in a browser tab. If it works there, the problem is the Teams client cache rather than the app.
  4. Ask your administrator whether your account still has access to the app.

Tokens expire. Timeora renews them in the background while the app is open; after a long break you may be asked once. If you are asked repeatedly, sign out of Teams completely, sign in again and reopen Timeora.

  • Is the module part of your licence tier? Accounting and CRM, for example, are Timeora One features.
  • Does your role hold the module’s read permission?
  • Did an administrator change your role recently? Changes apply on your next request, so reload once.

See Roles and permissions.

My tracked time does not appear in a report

Section titled “My tracked time does not appear in a report”
  1. Confirm the report’s date range. It is shared with the timer, but a report opened from a link can carry an older range.
  2. Check whether the entry has a project. Project and client reports ignore entries without one.
  3. Check the report type. The overview counts everything in the range; the project report only counts project work.
  4. If you are looking at somebody else’s time, your role needs the wider read permission (reports.readAll).

Punches are assigned to a day in the organisation’s time zone, not your browser’s. A punch shortly before or after midnight can therefore appear on a neighbouring day when you travel. This is intended; do not edit the punch to “fix” it.

Check, in this order:

  1. Missing or open punches in the period.
  2. Recorded absences — approved holiday should reduce expected time, not increase worked time.
  3. Public holidays maintained under Settings → Holidays.
  4. Break rules under Settings → Punch clock. A mandatory break is deducted automatically once a shift is long enough.

The column only counts real touches: a logged call, email or note on the account, one of its contacts or one of its deals. Moving a deal to another status is not a touch, so an account can be “active” in the pipeline and still show Never.

Collect the details listed in Contact support and open a ticket from About → Support in the app.
